Customized Care
At Daisy Downs, we know every dog is different. That is why we
tailor each dog’s care to suit their age, size, energy level,
confidence, and comfort, helping them feel happy, safe, and right
at home.
For playtime, dogs are grouped by size, energy level, and play
style. Senior dogs, slower movers, and dogs who prefer a gentler
pace can enjoy our easy-access “Senior” and “Slow Speed” yards,
with smooth concrete, no stairs, sunny spots, shade, and plenty of
comfy places to relax.
For dogs with more bounce in their paws, we have multiple outdoor
play yards in different sizes, so dogs can play with like-minded
friends in a safe, relaxed way. Each yard includes access to sun
and shade, resting beds, toys, and play equipment for plenty of
tail-wagging fun.
Small dogs have their very own dedicated area, complete with
cozier kennel runs and special escape-proof fencing. They can
enjoy smaller concrete yards for gentle play, rainy days, or
senior groups, plus grassy play spaces with ramps, toys, and
equipment made just for little paws.
Stay With Us!
At Daisy Downs, your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness come
first. Our owners live right on site, and caring for dogs is our
full-time profession, so you can feel confident your dog is in
experienced hands.
With over 21 years of professional dog care experience, plus
training in daycare and kennel management, dog behaviour,
training, and canine first aid, we provide safe, thoughtful care
for every guest.
Dogs enjoy large, comfortable sleeping areas with raised beds,
fleecy blankets, fresh water, and plenty of love. During the day,
they can play and socialise in matched groups outdoors in our
peaceful rural setting, with cuddles and individual attention
along the way.
We also take cleanliness and quality seriously. Guest areas are
cleaned and sanitised daily, deep cleaned regularly, and dogs are
fed premium Acana Prairie Poultry while in our care.
Conveniently located on State Highway 10 just outside Kerikeri,
Daisy Downs is a safe, caring, and happy place for dogs to stay,
play, and feel right at home.
